પ્યોર કાઠિયાવાડી ના બધા ને રામ રામ…
ચાલો તો થોડા દિવસ માં બધા 10માં અને 12માં ના બાળકોની બોર્ડ ની પરીક્ષાઓ પુરી થવામાં છે અને એમના વાલીઓ ની પરીક્ષા ચાલુ થવામાં. 10માં અને 12માં પછી કઈ લાઈન લેવડાવવી? શું કરાવવું અને શું નઈ? IIT ની તૈયારી માટે કોટા મોકલવા કે નઈ? આવા હજારોં પ્રશ્નો એમની સામે આવી જાય છે. પરીક્ષાઓ પુરી થતાજ બધા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કોલેજની અને ખાસ કરીને સાઇન્સ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ મેડિકલ અને એન્જીનીઅરીંગ પરીક્ષા ઓની તૈયારીમાં પડી જાય છે.
બાર સાઇન્સ પછી મોટા ભાગના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ IIT, NIT અને સરકારી મેડિકલ કોલેજ માં એડમિશન માટે અલગ અલગ એન્ટ્રન્સ પરીક્ષાઓ ની તૈયારી માં લાગી જાય છે. ઘણા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તો તૈયારી માટે કોટા, દિલ્હી અને બીજા શહેરો માટે જાય છે. લાખો રૂપિયા ફી ભારે છે અને મોટા ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ માં એડમિશન પણ લે છે. ઇન્સ્ટિટ્યૂટ એટલા મોટા કે પોતાના IPO પણ લોન્ચ કરે છે દા.ત. કરિયર લોન્ચર એ હમણાં પોતાનો IPO બહાર પાડ્યો.
તો હવે કરીએ મુદ્દાની વાત, 12માં પછી IIT અને NIT જેવી કોલેજુ માંથી એન્જીનીઅરીંગ કરવું એ વિદ્યાર્થી અને માતા-પિતા માટે ગર્વ ની વાત છે અને એન્જીનીઅરીંગ પૂરું કરી મોટી MNC કંપની માં જો પ્લેસમેન્ટ મળે તો એ વિદ્યાર્થી અને માતા-પિતા માટે ખુબજ ગર્વ ની વાત છે. પણ પણ પણ પણ…..હવે આપણે વાત કરશું એવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ની જે ખાલી ને ખાલી પોતાને લાઈફ માં શું કરવું છે એ જાણવા માટે IIT અને NIT જેવી કોલેજ માં એડમિશન લે છે.
ચાલો વિસ્તાર માં વાત કરીએ, અમુક પ્રકાર ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ભણવા માં હોશિયાર હોઈ છે એટલે JEE જેવી પરીક્ષા ક્રેક કરી IIT અને NIT જેવી કોલેજ માં એડમિશન તો લઇ લે છે પણ અધ્વચ્ચે ભણવાનું મૂકી અથવા ભણવાનું પૂરું કરી બીજી કોઈ ફિલ્ડ ની લાઈન પકડી લે છે. ઉદાહરણ તમને ભારત માં ઘણા મળી રહેશે. હવે પ્રશ્ન એ છે કે જો તમારે તમારું એન્જીનીઅરીંગ કે મેડિકલ નું ફિલ્ડ છોડી બીજું કંઈક કરવું છે તો IIT અને NIT જેવી કોલેજ માં એડમિશન લઇ અને એક સીટ શું કામ રોકો છો ????
ઘણા ખરા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તો ખાલી ડિગ્રી લેવા માટેજ ભણતા હોઈ છે. ઘણા તો ડિગ્રી લઇ ફેમિલી બિઝનેસ માં સેટ થઇ જાય છે અને અમુક ડિગ્રી નો ઉપયોગ મેટ્રીમોનીઅલ માટે પણ કરતા હોઈ છે (સારી ડિગ્રી હશે તો સારો વર કે ઘરવારી મળી જાય). મિત્રો જો તમારે આવું જ કરવું હોઈ તો સિમ્પલ ગ્રજ્યુએટ પણ કરી શકો છો. પણ આ માટે કોઈ બીજા ની એન્જીનીઅરીંગ કે મેડિકલ ની સીટ રોકવી એ સારું નઈ.
હમણાં મેં ડો.રોમન સૈની વિષે વાંચ્યું આ ભાઈએ નાની ઉંમરે AIIMS માંથી MBBS કર્યું અને ડૉક્ટર થયા..ખુબ સરસ પછી UPSC આપી IAS થયા અને કલેકટર તરીકે મધ્યપ્રદેશ માં નોકરી પણ કરી…ભારત પાસે આવા હોનહાર માણસો છે એ સારી વાત કેવાઈ. પછી અચાનક રોમન ભાઈ એ કલેકટર ની નોકરી મૂકી શિક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રે જતા રહ્યા અને અત્યારે ટીચર અને મોટીવેટર છે. અરે ભાઈ ટીચર થવું હતું તો B Ed/M.Ed કરવુંતું ને. હવે રોમન ભાઈ ના ટાઈમ માં જે વિદ્યાર્થીને ખરેખર ડૉક્ટર થવું હતું એની તો એક સીટ ગઈ ને.
તો કેહવા નો મતલબ સિમ્પલ છે અલગ અલગ એન્ટ્રન્સ પરીક્ષાઓ આપતા પહેલા ઠંડા કલેજે વિચારજો કે તમારે તમારી લાઈફ માં actually શું કરવું છે. IIT અને NIT જેવી કોલેજ માંથી civil કે computer engineering ભણી ને તમે stand-up comedian, લેખક, youtuber થાવ એ કઈ કામ નું નહિ. ખરેખર તમે એક એવા સ્ટુડન્ટ ની સીટ રોકો છો જેને ખરેખર engineer કે doctor થવું છે.
બસ આ અમારો વિચાર હતો ગમે તો વધાવજો બાકી બધા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ને બેસ્ટ ઓફ લક ભવિષ્ય ના ભણતર માટે……

success has no any definition, it is on going process. in childhood- to walk was our biggest success, then running, then riding bicycle then so on. so one cannot force someone what to chose what not to chose. it always on going process which changes time by time and affected by circumstances around. still nice try to put on lights on such topics. but career choices and life are co-related so it will be change time by time

Most of the students are not clear about their skills as within close boundaries of school and just mugging up the things in our education system, they hardly know themselves even .. Such institutions gave them courage, time, environment and that little push that make them realize their dream ..
I really feel pity on the thinking that if we can’t understand the difference between a IIT graduated passionate TEACHER and normal BEd Pass ..
Kindly consider so many factors before questioning anyone (Like You Did in Your Post) ..
If you still feel that, you’re correct, then , never get inspired by STEVE JOBS or DHIRUBHAI AMABANI or anyone else who never studied “MANAGEMENT” but runs a “COMPANY” ..
Your intention is good I believe, but the way you have presented the fact and one sided story, is need to be checked again..
Because of today’s education system and teaching methodology only , now a days, as they failed to inspire children and be their inspiration like my GURUs used to be.. Today’s generation who have access of Google and other things for knowledge, are finding it hard to VALUE and Offer RESPECT to the TEACHERS & sometimes Parents too and make fun of them ..
Here that one seat is not important but this one person is going to inspire “MANY” that is important .. Cause he will bring the new way of thinking and newer approach to the system after being “NON – TRADITIONAL” teacher ..
